Where I've worked

  1. Disney Streaming

    Senior Product Manager, Growth

    Oct 2023 to now

I own the web experience that brings people into Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ around the world: marketing landing pages, SEO pages, content pages for movies and series, and our editorial sites. I lead three engineering teams and I'm responsible for conversion, sign-ups, plan mix, and revenue.

    Testing program

Every top-of-funnel page and CTA can be tested and shipped on a constant cadence. Two recent wins: landing pages that match the ad a person clicked, and a guided plan builder that replaced a confusing flow. Both raised conversion.

    Explore Disney+ and Hulu Guides

Built from scratch: a CMS-driven editorial platform, launched in 6 markets. I owned the information architecture, page templates, and the design partnership. It drives incremental sign-ups and revenue.

    SEO and GEO

Led SEO across all three brands and grew both impressions and rankings. Now leading our Generative Engine Optimization work: opened the sites to AI crawlers, set up monitoring, and wrote the roadmap for how Disney+ shows up in AI answers.

    One platform

Merged three separate streaming codebases into one marketing platform. Pages got faster, organic acquisition grew substantially, and engineering costs dropped.

  2. Disney Streaming

Senior Product Manager, Growth and Monetization

    Mar 2021 to Oct 2023

Launched Disney+ with Ads and global plan tiering, then built the plan management system behind the new tiers.

Ran willingness-to-pay research that shaped plan design and how plans are presented at sign-up. Built the commerce experience for Star+ and Combo+ from scratch in 18 countries: sign-up, cancellation, and plan switching across 7+ platforms, with different regulations in every region.

  3. Marcus by Goldman Sachs

    Product Manager, Apple Card

    Jun 2019 to Mar 2021

I came up with and launched Path to Approval. Instead of a flat decline, applicants got specific steps they could take to get approved. It led to 130K additional approvals.

I also built Credit Line Management from scratch, balancing a good user experience against banking compliance, which unlocked $7B in customer spending power. I wrote SQL and worked in the microservices myself.

  4. American Express

    Associate Product Manager

    Aug 2018 to Jun 2019

Ran the Benefits Dashboard, where 2.3M card members a month went to see what their card gets them. Led a 10-person scrum team through the roadmap for acquisition and engagement features.

  5. IBM

    Strategy Consultant

    2017 to 2018

TODO: A line or two about the IBM work.

Morsel

AI calorie journal (iOS)

Log what you ate in plain language and it records the nutrition data, powered by the Anthropic API. The interesting work was the tradeoff between model speed and accuracy, and iterating on the prompt architecture.
